Post 911sc price?

83 sc with about 85K. sport seats (like new), original paint (like new), all updates, new tires, records since new

is 17K too much for this car? is there anything to watch out for with this mileage?

thanks.

Checking with the Market Update in the excellence #112 of August 2002, the going price of a '83 911SC coupe is listed, poor $13,534 good $15,388 and excellent $20,600. Considering the low milage and the updates it sounds like 17K is about right. As far as trouble with an engine with this low miles, and with a PPI, you should not have any worries. I have had my 82SC for 18 years, and 285,000 miles. Rebuild was at 233,000.

If you like everything about the car and it checks out clean on a PPI, I say $17,000 is fair.

If you compare it with a tired SC at $12,000, it's a bargain.
