Default Looknig for a Das roll bar...

Hey guys, I am looking to buy a Das roll bar for an 86 sunroof coupe.

If anyone has one or knows of one please let me know. Otherwise I will be forced to pay full price from the source which is truly a challenge with a freshman in college out of state.

You can email me directly @ jffonger@bellsouth.net

Regards
Jerry

Hi Jerry,

Good luck finding one used. I was on the hunt some time ago and when they do pop up, they are gone within hours of listing, literally. I eventually got lucky and got one used, and local to me to boot. But it took me over a year of looking/waiting. If you want a DAS used, this is what you have to look forward to. Otherwise, buy new and get it immediately. Sorry to be the bearer of not so great news.

...of course, autopower bars are plentiful should you want to go that route (I'd wait personally ).

It is funny you say that about the autopower. I actually bought one on ebay pretty cheap. I just could not bring myself to mount the thing to the floor pans and fender wells.

I sold it and here I am. I hope to find one. If not I will have to sell some parts to buy a new one. I plan on doing 4 or 5 track days this year and this is a must before that.

Same story here. Been looking for 2 years, every time they come up they sell before I'm even aware of them, or the seller won't ship. But good luck with it!. If I get any leads,,,,,,, uh, never mind.

I have a DAS rollbar for an 89 carerra cabriolet. I'm not sure if this will work for your car, but I'd be willing to part with it for less thaqt a new one. It's in good shape, tracked a couple of times, flat black paint, good condition. Contact me at rolare@sbcglobal.

The cab bar will not fit a coupe, sorry.
