Default eBay Targa: tasty or tart?

Hi all.

This eBay auction just ended and it took all restraint I had to not bid. For you early vintage 911 owners, does this vehicle look as good as described, or are there red flags?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...7776&rd=1&rd=1

Thanks, in advance.

Red flag is it's a 1977. Sorry to offend any 74-77 owners but these are by no means a hghly sought after model really no matter how pristine condition. I think everyone knows that. The mid-70's 2.7 210hp Carrera's were interesting and I love the turbo Carreras 3.0 but the S's sorry gotta pass. SC hugely better car.

Hard to say but a 2.7 that old in Florida which does not have a front oil cooler is a $10,000 engine rebuild waiting to happen.

"tart" isn't even a good word for the car. How about "tort"?
