NO don't buy one. At 40 you're still far too young & irresponsible.

Besides, it will save more good cars for us old b*stards.

I've been driving Porsches since I was 14 yrs old. I say, you're never too young and you're never too old. Carpe Diem!!

BTW - I'm 33 and on my 6th or so

Got my Targa in July, I was 40.

Got the 930 Turbo in October, I was 41.

I figure by the time I am 43, I should have a new GT3.......lol......

I was thinking the same thing, but found it a logical progression as this is my P-car history:
79 924 age 25
79 928 age 35
72 914 age 38
79 911SC age 40

Something about the '79s, maybe?
I'm starting to itch pretty badly for a manual Shark.......................

my car is exactly the same age as me even down to the month. You can never be too young or too old.

porsche: the toy for all ages! dont ever let anyone tell you you aren't old enough. my age shall remain undisclosed, other than to say my car saw 270,000 miles before i was born!
