Hey Folks!
Well, once more into the cockpit...pulled the trigger on a 1987 911 Carrera...Now all I have to do is get it on a trailer by saturday...this saturday...anyone out there know of a source for safe, reasonable shipping outfit to get my new ubergirlfriend to either Houston or Scottsdale from Orlando (FL.) anything I should watch out for...etc any and all help accepted with sweaty handed glee!
Thanks

Nice car! Looks like a 964 with those rims . Most people will say to flatbed it. I know of no trick, other than to try to get a good rate on shipping.

215 45ZR17 sized tires up front
275 40ZR17 sized tires in the rear.
As far as I know no spacers on it...
Im really happy with the wheels myself, think they really set it off...

I had a Camaro shipped. The car arrived filthy. No apparent damage, wife signed for. After the car was washed, actual gouges in the hood showed up. Could not see them with all the grime on the car. Never did get the company to pay.

I would make sure the car is somewhat clean and take your time inspecting the car before acceptance. Good luck.

Gorgeous car. I had the same wheels on my 84 Targa and thought it really set it off... certainly made it look newer than it was.

Congrats and good luck on the transport.
