I've got 4 polished Fuch's that I bought for my silver '84 Carrera and I didn't like the way it looked so I painted the old ones and they look great. If anyone is interested, I would love to sell them. They are 6 x 16 and 7 x 16. I have pics and part #'s. I want $200.00 each and I have boxes to ship them in. You will pay freight from the Dallas, Tx. area. Scott

Fuchs are ALWAYS right-looking on a 911, but I do like the phonedials as well... It really says "80's Porsche" to me...
I actually have thought from time to time of how a nicely finished set of phonies would look with Prussian blue, and I think it would look good.

..and it todays back from the dead thread ... as most of us are the same guys ... yuk !!!! save the phonies for the 944. I just think they look horid on a 911... IMHO of course .

One of the big pluses of the Fuchs is that they can be straightened. You never want to try that with a cast wheel (e.g., the Phone Dial). As a forged wheel, the Fuchs are much stronger and will bend rather than fracture.

I guess that explains why I have not seen any phone dials on 911s. I didn't know they were standard on the 911s until I saw it in a book.
I don't think they are ugly on the 911 and it would depend on the colour of the car. It just looks odd as the phone dial is associated to the 944.
I resurrected this because I was surprised that they were standard and there are some 944 phone dials available. Wonder if it was worth investigating. Probably not.

Dials would look good on my daughter's '03 Bug. I might try that use for them.
