New to the group. First question, I just purchased a Euro-spec '72 911T. I received the Porsche authenticity report and one of the options was 'Italy equipment'. Does anyone know what this was? Also, does anyone have a picture of any early 911 painted Albert Blue? I'm restoring the car back to stock and I have no idea what this color looks like. I look forward to your answers and glad to be a part of the group. Cheers!

Congratulations on the new (to you)early T. You might want to get hooked up with the 911T registry. Here is their link: http://www.911t.org/default.htm

Steve, I simply cannot resist, having owned (& thoroughly enjoyed & respected) numerous Alfas...
"Italy Equipt."
a) Rust Acceleration
b) Mysterious (& Irregular) Electrical Faults
c) Funky Seating Position
d) Red Paint (somewhere)
e) Hand Throttle (set to "max")
f) Corkscrew
g) Radio Preset on Verdi
h) Automatic Braking for Pretty Girls...
I hope someone else will provide you the "real poop"... You've got a great model (I've got a '73T), I hope yours turns out to be a great example...
Welcome Aboard,
Ciao!

Reviving this thread after 19 years to see if anyone knows the answer to the question of what "Italy Equipment" is. Thanks.

If it was Italian delivered it may have originally had the unobtanium lens patterns. Clear with red. You can find good repops
albert blue is a great early 911 color.
