Curing the mid-corner bump - swaybars or torsion bars?
My 78 with a partial suspension refresh (new Bistein HDs, TTie-rods, drop links and swaybar bushings) will bump up in mid-corner during spirited street driving when there is a road bump. I run the car at a fairly low Euro ride height. Torsion and swaybars are stock 78SC, tires are stock size 16" with 7/8 Fuchs..
If I assume the shock is simply running out of travel and hitting the bump stop, would you upgrade the torsion bars or swaybars? I am on a budget and can only do one. Also this is a street car only and ride quality is of some concern.
Thanks in advance.

Hi:
If your shocks ARE bottoming,...then either raise the car or installed shorter front inserts and rear shocks.
Installing larger torsion bars is only a band-aid and doesn't address the root problem. Swaybars do nothing for the lack of adequate suspension travel.
