Now that picture is really something else! I live in Chicago - tell me where I have to drive to get to that location, and I might just do it.

The car was written up in Excellence Magazine (Oct. 2003). The motor is a 2.7L MFI motor like a 73RS built from a 7R case, but with some upgrades (more compression, better valvetrain, oiling improvements, flowed heads, higher revs, sport exhaust, etc). Ollie's in CA did all the machining and Jack Refenning at the 901 Shop in FL did the build. It's a sweetheart!

Yeah, it does for sure. Especially since the driver is only separated from the motor by a thin Lexan firewall

I just bought (literally days ago) an '84 Carrera with 57K miles. I am the third owner. The previous two were so obsessive that I got records for even brake fluid purchases and a Rubbermaid tub full of the parts that got taken off when they were worn out. Relays and such. The car has Sport Suspension, and a Sport steering wheel. The expensive one.
I haven't even had time to take pictures. It joins my two 914's and a 240Z along with the 4Runner and BMW R1100 RT-SE...
It feels like a new car. Very tight and quiet. Nice and quick too...

Mine is an 84, 3.2-915/67, Steel Slantnose Cab, I don't drive it much due to health reasons, I have only put about 1700 miles on it in the last 3 or so years. The car now has little over 39,000 miles on it. it is like a giant go-cart, but really fast.
