I have penciled out some real costs for the 74 targa, and I know it will cost way too much to restore.

I will keep looking.

I have also spent way too much on my 87 BMW 635 csi.

Thanks everybody for your imput.

Default Johnny, I just saw 2 ads in our local PCA newsletter (Orange County, CA)..

There are 2 early 911s for sale:

A '74 911 chocolate brown. Garaged and pampered. See pictures at: http://www.geocities.com/chocolatebrown1974porcshe911/ Jeff at 310-963-0142. Price & mileage?

A '75 911S Targa. Sahara Beige/Tan. Garaged, excellent condition. $15K. Pat- 949-830-6218.

No affiliation. YMMV.

Tony
