Default Opinions on exhaust combos

Did a search. Looking for current opinions. What combination of headers and mufflers are you running? Do you feel a difference in throttle response and torque? I am considering B&B or SSI headers along with Fabspeed or M&K exhaust. Can't find any audio of Dansk mufflers. Thanks.

The constant for what I have sen in the past seems to be the SSI's, it just varies on what type of muffler you put with it. I wonder if we could some how have a " sound-off" where guys can post sound bites and we can have apoll..would be fun and possibly very productive..

I spent a fortune on BB...sounds great and added lots of HP, but if I had to do it again, I would use SSI and Fabspeed muffler, and saved some $$.

I had SSI's and a dual outlet sport muffler from AJ-USA that sounded great. When the sporty muffler crapped out, I bolted a pair of Super Trapps directly to the SSI's. The Super Trapps were cool because you could add or remove baffles to tune the sound. However, they did have an "in your face" sort of look about them that some people would not like.

I've just ordered a fabspeed pre-muffler and monty 1/1 exhaust which in totat cost US$850. The other option was SSIs and a monty or dansk 2/1 exhaust and although this would be the better option in terms of outright power, it was going to cost around three times as much and could be a bit loud for a stree-driven car. there are some links to dansk sound clips on
