Default Mechanic near Cupertino?

I just moved my 1974 Carrera to Cupertino so I have something to drive in the winter when I visit from Northern Ohio. But the electrical warning light is on and I need to find a good independent Porsche shop that can deal with the electrical problem. I have a list of local shops in the area but what shops have people had the best experience with?

I used Don Wise at Don's Autowerks in Campbell for a PPI last year ans was very impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. I would go back there without a second thought.

Give Tony (owner) a call at Heyer Performance in Mountain View. Feel free to mention me (Alex with the 87 Diamond Blue 951 & 00 Artic Silver 986S).

Heyer Performance

I have been using Tony's shop for years. Last time Tony helped me trace a voltage leak and I was impressed.

Hope it helps,
- Alex.

+1 for heyer performance. great shop and honest to a fault (no affiliation just a satisfied customer). tony has done my valve job, alternator, steering rack, clutch, and assorted other odds and ends over the years.

Try Dave Modderman in Mountain View. My family has been going to his shop since the early 80s.
