Bought mine from Pelican last year - REALLY, REALLY like it. Recommend that you DO get the spacer.

I think that wheel adds so much class to an already near-perfect car...probably one of the nicest updates a guy can do...LOVE that picture!

I just installed mine this weekend...took about 1/2 hour, really easy install, I used the pelican parts tech article on it and it was a snap...I also put on the late crest in silver, it looks VERY VERY NICE...

Instead of buying the crest, I got the .5" column extension. For those who find the reach a little too far, or the stalks a little too cramped for the fingers, this is a nice fix. Now, If I can just lower the wheel about .5 in...

The spacer also allows you to see your gauges, and raises the wheel about half an inch (since it's off-centered), which makes getting into and out of the car easier.
