can anybody tell us boost figures in gears on 964 turbo(c2 turbo)

can anybody tell us boost figures in gears on 964 turbo(c2 turbo)
hi
my car is a completely standard apart from a air filter induction kit 1992 porsche 911 turbo 2 (c2 turbo,,,965)was checking my car for boost pressure tonight with a gauge connected to the top end of my blow off valve and i noticed i was getting these pressures at these different revs in different gears----1st gear about 8-9 psi,,,2nd gear full boost at 3750 revs peaking at 11 psi approx,,,3rd gear full boost 3500 revs peaking approx 11-12psi,,,4th gear full boost 3250 revs peaking approx 11-12psi,,,and finally 5th gear full boost 3000 revs peaking approx 11-12psi!!!
is this normal that the full boost comes in earlier in the revs as you go up the higher gears e.g 2nd gear full boost at 3750 to 5th gear full boost at 3000 revs,,,,also only 8-9 psi in first gear is this to control power in first
