Front End Moan groan sound on slow turns ?
After I got the car back from having the CV boots replaced and regreased I had to leave for a trip for a few weeks.
Got in to drive the car for the first time since it left the garage for the CV boots replacement. and immediately when turning right in the parking lot at slow speed, without the brakes applied, I have begun to hear a "moaning" sound coming from the front end of my 3.2 1989 Carrera.
As soon as I straighten out the steering wheel the noise stops.
The car has 22,000 miles on it. The brakes seem to work fine with no metal to metal brake noise. Has anyone experienced this problem? If so what was causing the problem?
Cheers Rich

Rich: Your noise is completely typical of one or both of the following:
1. Your front brake calipers need to be resealed, or...
2. Your brake hoses need to be replaced and the brake fluid flushed.
Replace the hoses first (all four!), I'm sure they're still original which means they should have been done about 7-8 years ago! You have about a 50/50 chance that the hoses will cure the problem (use o.e. rubber hoses, not braided), if the noise is still there reseal the calipers.
