Default a tale of two 3.2's

1st car, '86/145k mi never opened, leaks a little, probably uses a little, stock with exception of weltmeister/automotion chip, gutted muffler, modified airbox, disconnected brown wire @dme...car runs like stink

2nd car '85/70k mi looks to be unopened, dry, uses little if any oil,
stock with exception of SW chip, gutted muffler, modified airbox, diconnected brown wire @ dme...car runs...lazily, no verve or agression, almost like it's dragging an anchor. To be clearer, 1st car @ 90mph is smoother & stronger than second car@ 80mph. Done most of the bentley cks with little or no change. i've switched dme's, stock chip, had the injectors cleaned and flow tested. it's not the cat. the one difference i've seen is the compression test yielded ~150 across the board versus the '86's 160 same/same.
other than cam timing witch i've yet to check how much of a difference will 10psi yield all else being somewhat equal? tia.
