Default 1995 C4 7.5" and 9" on a 1981 911 SC

Will the 1995 C4 wheels fit on a stock bodied 1981 911 SC? Do you need spacers? They are 7.5" and 9" by 17". Will 205/50 17 and 255/40 17 tires work with this set up?

The rims and tires will fit but you will need spacers.

Confirm, I also have the 17x7.5 / 9 cup setups on one of my sets of wheels & it fits with the spacers on my std body '84.

Hi Dale,
I have a 1975 911S with SC flares. I'm running Fikse FM-5 wheels, front 7.5x17 (225/40-17) and rear 9x17 (255/40-17) I did have to route my auxillary oil cooler lines higher in the rear passenger fender well to clear the 255s (245s worked without that modification.) No spacers used. Fikse wheels are the next best thing to fuchs as far as lightweight and forged construction and they make them to your specifications. Check the weight of the wheels you are considering, some add a lot to the unsprung corner weight.
Hope this helps,
Nick
