I have Sparco Evo's in my 77 911. They will install with the sparco provided brackets and sliders (at least in my 77). It sill raise your seating position an inch or two, so if you are close on headroom now, it will make headroom even more of an issue.

I had the factory mounts on the chassis cut out and the seat sliders bolted to the floor (on reinforcements, of course) The seating position is perfect for me now, however I am 6'7 (not your typical height)

Good Luck

It's pretty easy to fabricate adapter plates. The pre-74 cars (or maybe it's pre-SC) have the seats on 18 inch centers. The SC and later seats are narrower. Contemporary seats (and most race seats) are on 16 inch centers. But get the seat first, with side brackets, and then measure what you need. Then you put in a plate that connects the sliders (make sure they're dual locking sliders) to the car.
