Some of the OEM sets on eBay are vinyl instead of leather, so buyer beware. The ones I saw when I was looking also had black piping on the covers, so it's not exactly an OEM look.
I bought just one cover from Autos Intl. and was very high quality. It fits great. I'm not an expert installer by any means, but I think I got 95% the quality of professional for just the cost of my own time. My passenger set was in really good shape, but was faded and now does not match the new drivers seat. My plan is to re-dye the seat in a Linen dye, and if I don't like the results for some reason, I'll pony up for a second new cover. Another advantage of using dye is I can do my shift boot and **** at the same time.
Anyway, the process of replacing the cover was:
Remove seat from car (need metric allen sockets)
Remove plastic trim pieces and surround for seat control
Unbolt seat bottom from seat back, disconnect seat back cable for release mechanism
Remove cover from seat using hogring pliers, needlenose pliers and some elbow grease![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Remove the metal guide wires from the old cover and insert into the new covers.
Turn new cover inside out and work leather back onto seat in the reverse process as you did for removing the cover. Some areas may require a lot of pulling and working into place. At various points you will need to re-install the hogrings/clips in roughly the same order as during removal.
Bolt the seat back to the seat bottom and re-install the trim pieces.
Install seat back in car.
I have lots of pictures that I took mostly to remind myself how I did the removal in case I got stuck on the install. I can send/post them if you're interested.

Congrats,
I had 2 black 3.2's over the years, one with black leather seat(red piping - beautiful) and another with linen (also nice). Used them daily, absolutely loved them.
Now I have a 965 and it feels and rides tame by comparison to the 3.2's (except the turbo boost and wide arches which are not tame at all!). I want to get that ol' Carerra character so am just in process of fitting louder exhaust and lower springs!
I'm jealous....
