Appearance group option
I have a shop and recently restored a 72 911 for a client. His car had the fender wheel trims which I have always known as the Appearance group option.The owner did not want them put back on the car and gave them to me.
I have a 69 912 and thought I'd use them, but they do need some repair and refurbishing. Are these that rare? I've not seen to many of them and I've not recalled seeing them for sale as reproduction or in Performance Products, Mid
America, etc. (although I think I've seen the rockers and deco moldings tagged as "appearance group"). I told the customer that he should hang on to them but he seemed unaffected. Any thoughts?
