I have one on my car that I am selling but it is still on the car so I can't weigh it yet. This is a stock 911SC lid, no tail.

Also, any idea on the best way to package and ship this?

I would try to ship it via bus. Buyer has to go to staton, but they are cheap for bulky items.

Try a packaging store - if they charge too much then put foam blocks around the edges and cut down an applianance box to fit. A bit of dumpster diving will yield some nice boxes behind a Home Depot etc.

When dumpster diving it is always hard to decide whether to take the Porsche or a Mercedes. The Porsche gives you a faster get away, but the Benz holds more...
