Yea. Salt of the earth people, Al & his wife Dianne. They care. I'd go nowhere else.

Al is a nice guy and did my wheels. But I have to say that Harvey Weidmann (sp?) is the absolute best. Search at the Early 911S bbs for comaprison photos and comments. HW charges more and takes longer.

HW is in NoCal & AR is in SoCal. You can find their #'s in the numerous threads on Pelican and on the Early 911S bbs.

I think AR is near LA and that HW is in Chico, but not sure and don't have phone #'s handy.

BTW - if you just want a polished finish, maybe it doesn't matter. FOr satin of frosted it might -- it's not a big difference between the two -- I called it A- vs. A+ in the Early 911s where I put some pics.

You said "absolute best" so...

Ther eis also a guy in the midWest that does this and many have done it themselves, with lots and lots of labor involved... but that's more for absolute cheapest, IMO.
