Default Book recomendations

Hi Guys

I know we have not officially listed a post on this but I have seen stiff pop up occasionally . I want to pick up the latest edition of Pete's Book ( only the 8th is out right now Pete ? )

Since I work on my car a lot can anyone recomend any other books I could pick up from Amazon ? I have the 101 projects and the Bently. Does anyone know of any good CIS books or T/S books ? I am more interested in repair and maintanance than glossy mags.

Oh by the way Pete I need new mounts .... maybe it would be cheaper NOT to get your books .. you know what I am like with projects :-)

I took out one of the engine mounts to look at and thunk ..... I looked down and thought hmmm... maybe I should have put a jack under there ... chalk one up to experience ... at least I know the frame is straight ..... the hole lined up perfectly .. ( i remember that from a post of yours some time ago ) ...

ice: LOL! Don't have your foot under the engine instead of a jack!

You have the important repair books. Get a copy of the PET.

Bosch used to make a booklet on the theory of operation of the CIS.

Bruce Anderson's book is great but deals mainly with hot rodding the car.

look here http://www.porsche.com/usa/accessori...artscatalogue/
this is the pdf stuff, almost like PET, but PET is an actuall program you install. I've put a link up before but it always get deleted. search, you'll find it.
that book up there has all the CIS and motronic stuff in there, but there is a bosch CIS specific book that I've not seen.
I wouldn't know jack if I didn't have that book.
