Default What dia. steering wheel?

I am going to replace the worn out Porsche 3-spoke steering wheel on my 78Sc with a Momo Corse. The question is which dia. to choose: 12.6 or 13.8?

Thanks.

Depends on you and how much you want to "work" at it. If I were not streeting the car, or if it's a weekender joyride, the smaller diameter is better: more "feel" and weightier steering for positive feedback. But if slower speeds and parking manuvers are a daily occurance, the larger diameter wheel will be much easier to live with. FWIW, I think the 350mm wheels are a good compromise ...just a bit smaller than the stock wheel, but not so small that daily driving/parking becomes a chore ...IMHO of course.

I run a 360mm wheel. I prefer the lighter effort associated with slow speed turning and it is still comfortable for me to sit under it being 6'-3".
Taller guys may like a smaller wheel to gain a bit of knee clearance.

I love my Momo Corse - and I have the bigger corse - the smaller one seems like you a driving a play car

I just put in the 350 mm Corse as well. Identical to the one above.
It's quite a bit smaller than the OEM on an 86.
Just to look in the car it looks tiny.
I can't see going any smaller.
It is way closer to the dash, which I wasn't expecting.

I must have the smaller one then, put on by the previous owner. I do really like it and find the effort needed to turn is not that high. It does block view of the speedo and oil temp/pressure guages though.

Rick,
I see you havee rotated your speedo and tach 90° in order to better read the important areas. I had to do this on my 74, but because the dash looked funny to passengers, I rotated them just enough so that I could see the areas of specific interest, then I rotated all of the guages that same amount to get some consistency.
I got fewer questions from onlookers and passengers when they were all rotated to match.
