Question Transmission Serial Numbers - Any Reference Points?

I am trying to track down the model/year of the transmission in my newly acquired race car. The serial number on the engine decodes as a 1974 911S/Carrera (6341495), but I'm not having much luck decoding the year for my 915 transmission. The serial number I found on the lower boss of the tranny was 9152675. I believe that this is a 915/06 transmission, found on 1974 911S and Carrera models, but would really like to confirm.

Peter Zimmerman, or anyone else - any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Toby: The 915/06 transmission was used in the '74 911, 911S and Carrera, and the 1975 Carrera. It's a 5-speed with the following ratios:
1 - 11:35
2 - 18:33
3 - 23:29
4 - 27:25
5 - 29:21
...and was fitted with the 7:31 ring & pinion.

Pete
