911 3.2L Carrera/ 964 3.6L Mass Air Flow Kit for sale...
This is a Huntley Racing MAF kit for the 3.2L Carrera. I'm certain it will also work just the same on any C2/C4 3.6L 911 as well.
I have personally run this setup (it is off my previous 3.2L euro 911 Carrera) with a test pipe and a good chip. The difference is quite noticable although I did not dyno the setup myself. Really makes difference in the top end of the power band when used with a test pipe or better yet SSI's and a good muffler.
The kit includes everything shown:
MAF Sensor
MAF Manifold
MAF Air Filter (K&N)
Purcosil adapter with clamps
Air Meter Adapter
ARC2 Fuel Controller
ARM1 air/fuel ratio meter
$500 + shipping

Ford 80mm MAF from the look of it, nice (actually, looks like a later OBD-II connector on it, mid-90's up Mark / Continental?). We use the earlier 80mm Marks for the V6 SHO upgrades too.
How plug & play is it? Will Steve W do a chip for it? I'd love to jump on the kit, nice price, but I was leaning more toward an MK Muffler first... hmmm.

It's very plug-n-play.
The deal is that with the ARC2 you can alter your a/f ratios. You need to understand how to adjust the ARC2 or the car will not run correctly.
The ARC2 is a great device. I've used it for years on various cars. It intercepts the signal from the MAF to the ECU and basically "tells the ecu" that there is more or less air than there really is. Thus by "tricking the ECU" you can richen or lean out the a/f ratios. The ARC2 does this by the *****.
LOW: This does not mean "low range". This means that it moves up or down, in 2% increments, the signal curve, as a whole. In other words, it takes what ever the signal curve is, and moves the whole thing up or down.
MID: Bows the signal curve lean or rich in the middle load range
HIGH: Same as mid, but bows the signal curve in the high load range
ACCEL: This taps into the the TPS circuit, and acts much the same way an accelerator pump does on a carb. Pretty slick actually.
Then there is the ARM1. This is an air/fuel ratio meter that taps into your existing 02 sensor circuit. You can use this to tell if the car is in open loop, closed loop, running lean or running rich. Not as good as a wide band 02 setup, but for a N/A car, it's more than enough to tune with.
The setup comes with the wiring harness.
You basically, intercept the stock air flow meter signal and insert the ARC2 device in between that, and the ECU. Very simple to do. (cut wire, connect one wire to one end of cut wire, and connect other wire to other end of cut wire...).
Then you "tap" onto the TPS circuit for the ACCEL feature to function.
The other wires are for power, switched power, ground.
The ARM1 requires power, ground, and a tap into the existing 02 sensor circuit.
All in all... it's a hour or two job at most.

Bump ola...
Someone here must and a MAF kit for a 964 or Carrera.
I can't believe at this price it hasn't moved.
But if it matters, I will guarantee a 10HP to the wheels difference before and after on the same dyno (at some point in the dyno graph). These things work. Seen the dynos with my own two eyes, and have run them myself. This was going to be for me euro 3.2 Carrera, but since I'm selling the car, I don't need it. And my 3.6L SC is PMO'ed.

Best of luck with the sale Tony, seems like a cool rig.
I pulled the trigger yesterday & ordered the fully polished 1 in / 1 out MK muffler, so I'm back to the low side of my toy fund right now.
