3.2 Carrera Front Wheel Bearings

The wheel bearings (inner and outer) are easy to replace. The outer bearing falls out when you remove the hub and the inner bearing is sitting behind the inner grease seal. You need to get new inner grease seals when you do this job.
Packing the bearings with grease is straight-forward, just messy.
The inner and outer bearing races can be a little more problematic because they are a pressed fit into the hub. One "trick" that I like is to knock out the old races with a punch (be very careful not to mar the hub). I then install the new races by heating the hub and freezing the new races. I heat the hub in an oven (remove all the grease first) when the Mrs. is not at home.
