Default Sportomatic trans question

Hi, I have a friend with a 1969 911 E with the sportomatic transmission and he is looking for more info on the trans so that he can order some parts and seals. Anyone know where I could find the schematics on this trans? Thanks for any help.

The factory manual is your best bet. A large number of special tools are required to have a successful Sporto repair, parts are very expensive, so it's best to know exactly what you need to do before disassembly. Because of cost & difficulty most Sportos end up being converted to 5-speeds.

Thanks for the reply Pete, this guy is just looking for a schematic of parts so that he knows what to ask for when he calls the parts place. I'm sure at some point he'll do the 5 speed swap but right now he just wants to get the car up and running so that he can make a list of what needs to be done to make it a driveable car, it has not run in a few years so he has his work cut out for him.
