Default body advice

my 73 has a slant conversion on the front. with out pop up head lights. The guy that did my state inspection is no longer in business. Now i can not find anyone to pass the car on state inspection becasue the headlights are not the federal limit off the ground. So i obtained a set of fenders with pop-ups. I went to put them on today and found that the battery boxes are in the way of the buckets for the headlamps. So I really do not want to go cutting the boxes off and relocate the batteries.

I think i want to put the car back to a regular 911 front end. I found a pair of 77 fenders, bumper and chin spoiler.
How much hassle am i going to have getting them on the car?

No i do not want to put the car back to a 73 body..... Why? then i would also have to change eh back end as well
