Pic's of new car + wheel question
First of all thanks for all the people who helped me in my original thread.
Now the question I am looking for a set of track wheels. My car is an 87 coupe. It has 25mm front spacers and 35mm rear spacers to fit the ssr rims. It has 23 and 31 mm torsion bars and light fender rolling. Will 993 16" cup wheels fit with these spacers? Here’s an example of the wheels http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...MEWA%3AIT&rd=1
Thanks for all the help

Silly question and of course I could be wrong...
From this photo it looks as if there's no rubber seal/joint in between the add-on bumper and hood. It's open to road filth and humidity... Or am I wrong... If it were my "REAL 911", I would concentrate on re-finding the original look before more wheels... But what I've done to my Porsche 911/964, does not mean you have to follow... That was my first impression that's all...
Good luck, Marc...

as to the original question it depends on the width and o/s of the SSRs

Thanks for the help on the wheels it looks like i will need 55mm rear spacers to fit the 70mm offset of the rear wheels.
As to the bumper/hood seal there is an inner seal which keeps out moisture and dirt, but i do plan on adding a smile to get rid of gap between the two.
Bill Verburg
Will i need the 964 smile or can i use the original 911 one to seal the gap

Not sure of what your budget is but IMO one of the best track wheels for the price are CCWs. I use them on my SC, cost about $1800 brand new.. They will make them specifically for your car's offsets.

My Opinion and my Mx are --- Lose any spacers and get the correct fitment for safety. I had some great wheels from my 928 that looked great with the 1" and 2" spacers that cost me $450. My Porsche Mx with 30 years experience saw them and blew his top. Returned the spacers and bought the correct wheels. I'm not crazy about the aftermarket front bumper. Can't put my finger on it, but, they look strange to me... Just my opinion. Nice car! Ron

The spacers on my car are H & R, and they are the kind with the studs built into the spacer. In inches they are 1 inch front and 1 1/4 rear will i be allowed to use these on the track. Also will 7X16 and 8X16 52.3mm phone dials fit with these spaces.
Thanks
