Registration for the 2006 Porsche Parade in Portland Oregon opened yesterday. As I have never attended I thought going to the one in my home town would be an easy way to test the waters. Anyone here planning on attending?

 

I am certain there will be a lot of Rennlisters who will be attending. I know I for one will be there

You're going to have a GREAT time as its "overload" for any Porsche person who has never attended one.

We'll be having an Open House sometime during that week, too.

I have heard that from a number of folks and with it local, I have no excuse...

Not sure about your open house as I have been there a few times already and may want to use my time for something not as readily available. ... Doing something special?

 

I just heard that Parade is up to 700 registrants. If you want to go, time is awastin'.

Your open house is on my must do list for the week. Our INWR region will be doing the safety inspections, stop by and say hello.

 

What is the deadline.....and how do I apply?

Its a "meet & greet" to show the facility, a gaggle of cool cars, and a chance to finally put faces with names after 10+ years,...

 

No real deadline (yet) but once it is full, it will be full and you will be put on a waiting list. You can apply here (http://www.pca.org/parade/2006/) by followng the links to Registration. You will need a PCA member Login to access the on-line registration materials.

It is always a thrill to see what you guys have cooking in the back. From my past visits, I know missing out is a bad thing becausae it is always interesting.

And, as you note, I see Parade as a chance to see the folks I "talk" with on the BBS's. And that is very cool as well.

I'm not sure yet,...... I need to see a finalized daily schedule so we can pick a day with the least conflicts.

For sure, it will not be Monday (concours) or Tuesday (rallye),........

 

Yeah Steve.... so i guess that leaves during Autocross...
