Brian

great Camera angles, looks like it took you forever to walk the 20 ft to take the other photo...

Here is my 1500 dollar beater, this car is actually a blast to drive. 5spd with Bilstein sports .. and my OTHER antique.

I am very happy with my Audi allroad. Good performance from the 2.7 litre twin turbo and 6-speed manual. Lots of room - as much or more than the "perfomance" SUV's (BMW X-5 and such). Good combination of all weather performance, fun, and utility. This is the last year they will be available new in the US. Or, even better, an Audi S4 Avant - sweet ride.

My "responsible" car is a '99 Volvo S80. It does everything it was designed to do very well, it just was not designed to be exciting... I'm thinking of giving it to my dad and using my '85 Carrera exclusively.

Ice,

2003 Suburban....and that's good enough for Houston traffic, bad streets, and a short commute. The fun cars come out on the weekends.

Mike .. and that was 1500 Canadian .. not even real money.

It had 250,000km and needed a lot of work, but it was a great project and gave me lots or practice for my current project.

Iceman, That is one clean looking Audi. Great work! I'd have that engine compartment pic framed and on my garage wall. I don't know my Audis. What year and model is that?

Ice

Nice XS360, hard to find them that clean. I've got a well used XS400 project bike and a XJ550 Seca as a beater, and a '66 Kawasaki W1 650 (the BSA clone)

Hey Brian...
Great stuff!!.. What a pleasure to see someone that loves cars...
Bravo!!.. To all the "REAL" 911'ers, thanks for your imput. Without that effort, I'm sure we would be working more on our Porsches instead, well maybe not, as there's always something other to do... "So"...

If any of you are "Formula 1" minded, and want to try something new now... Please come to the "OFF TOPIC FORUM" and check out... "FORMULA 1"... "Start your engines"...

Have a look and go from there... Could be another, Great stuff!!..

Thanks for your sharing...

at Bahrain, Marc...

I'm with Mark on this one. I have an '04 Epedition for the Houston traffic and try to get the 911 out as often as possible.

Marc A.: I'm with you! Formula 1 - finally! I've watched every televised F1 race since the boys were in Phoenix, and most of the races between Long Beach & Phoenix. 3:00 am, pst, tomorrow - Bahrain practice! Schumi will be back, but will Ferrari? Kimi will be drunk, Montoya will have a sore shoulder, Alonso will be solid, Williams will be faster than anybody has predicted, Jensen will be faster than Rubens, Trulli will still be quicker than Ralf (maybe!), and the big surprise will be... Bridgestones will work?
Pete
