Post What color is this car?

Hi all, I'm trying to determine the color of the Blue 72 in the pic. I know the 968 is Riviera Blue, so I'm just trying to figure out the color of the early one, because I'd like to paint my car this cool color. Thanks!

That looks EXACTLY like my car. It's Mexico Blue. I thought it was a '74 color but maybe they used it in '72 as well. I painted mine 10 years ago and I still get compliments. I used GLASURIT Acrylic Urethane GL#:POR-336 21 line. I don't know if it's still available but if so, it's a super paint. So easy to use and you can rub out anything;orange peel, runs, etc. Very expensive though.

mto, how does this blue look to you? It's a mid-70's Porsche color, - arrow blue.

Wow Jim...it looks fu**ing awesome! That's almost exactly what I'm going for, right down to the polished Fuchs! I'm opting for an RS style spoiler, ducktail, and flares though. I'd love to see before and afters if you've got 'em.

mto, that's a pic from the Pelican Parts board. The car belongs to John Forcier (aka Fishcop) and yes, it's RHD. He lives in Australia. You can look up Fishcop or post for info on his car on Pelican's 911 forum:
