Just recently purchased a 1969 911E. As you can see by the pictures, it is in great shape both inside and out. My question...the overall paint on the car is very good except some minor scratches. The front has a lot of small paint scuff due to road spray. Should I have the whole car smoothed out and repainted or should I keep it in its natural condition to show some character? Your thoughts!!

You've got one beautiful E there! Irish green? Original?
I'd keep it just the way it is & proudly display every single chip & nick.
Anybody can have a hood painted anew, yours earned its scars at speed.
Keep adding to them, save the $ for gas.

I fully agree with ked. Keep that car original.
Cars are only original once. You can never go back after a repaint.
As an amature concours judge, I personally would never deduct for an original paint job like your car has, even with it's battle scars. Touch up any nicks that need touch up to keep corrosion at bay and leave 'er as she is!
