Modern RS profile Tyres - the visuals
Ive got 7&7x15 inch wheels on my 911 RS rep.
At the moment the tyres are very old Pirrelli and they have the nice round sidewall profile that really suits the deeper dished fuchs.
the question is, what profile tyres should it have 50s 60s 70s.
I dont want to end up with a tyre that looks modern ie, very flat sides or worse still has a flat banded look. worse than that are the 70s with the big tractor treads visible.
does anyone know a good modern make that would visually suit the rs replica on the fuchs.
(subjective I know, but someone will know exactly what I am talking about)

You can go to tirerack.com and they have pics of all their tires some with blowup pics. Stay away from the Yoko ES100, they look great on my MINI, but the square shoulders would not look good on the 911.

The Michelin Vintage race tires have a very cool profile. I run 215 & 295 x 15's on my 8 & 11 x15 rims. A pretty pricey tire.
