drove a friend's 76 carrera 3.0 with a 3.6 stuffed in it today. i knew the brakes were going to be a little weak and that the 915 trans could not be rushed, but boy was i impressed. the new engine had a l/w flywheel with no ac and a single aluminum pulley. reved up great. the car had just been finnished and i was very excited to drive it. big torque and light weight makes for a lot of fun. you know your in a great car when you take a half hour drive by yourself and you don't even consider the radio. more upgrades are planned for the car. i sold my 964 last spring, so it felt great to take such a driver's car out for a spin.
