On my 911SC, I used both Bosch copper and NGK copper plugs, and would say they both worked well.
On the distributor and rotor, given how infrequently they need to be replaced, I'd purchase them from a discounting Porsche dealer. They come with a 2 year warranty from Porsche, too.

Try to stick with factory replacement parts (Bosch).
Some cheaper aftermarket parts are very poor quality.
As far as spark plugs, I've used NGK BKR7E (part # 6097) on most of my Porsches for years (especially on the 944 Turbo's). Guys with Supra Turbo's run these plugs on 900hp cars without any problems.

Thanks Bill, getting ready for a little tune- up. I've met someone here in NC who is going to help me do a few things to my car that I haven't done: Turbo tie rods, adjust valves, tune-up, who knows what else!!! I just came from his shop, and WOW!! He's rebuilding a 79 911SC, 914, he showed me his 84 930 that's a beauty, and of course he also pulls the cover on a old Shelby Cobra replica that is pristine. Sorry for the digression, but I'm excited.

Chris: W5DC plugs (Bosch) and o.e. cap & rotor are your best bet. Don't trust the factory gap, always correct each plug as/if necessary.
