Default Potential 911 engine buyers..........

If you plan to bid on either of the 911 engines from GAD (eBay), please be advised, (yes, once again) that their mileage claims are bogus.
Each of those engines have more than twice the mileage that is claimed. That's right, each engine has over 120k miles (under 60k is claimed on each engine).
Smart buyers will ask for a VIN# to get a Carfax or AutoCheck report.........
Just a friendly heads-up.

Thats good advice!

I'd caution anyone about buying those kinds of things on E-Bay.

Caveat Emptor on such activities,...

Well then, you've been very unlucky. There are quite a few honest sellers on eBay.
But these guys (GAD) have made a habit of making up lies about actual mileage and/or condition of their items.

One serious consideration before purchase. DO NOT FORGET TO CHECK THE ENGINE NUMBERS!!!!! If they are hesitant about giving them to you, then I would be hesitant about buying from them!

Cheers

I don't see any claims about mileage in this auction:

How do you know the actual mileage was deliberately misstated in the second auction?

I was talking about the 2 3.6 engines.

I had a friend look at both of these cars which were sold in a local auction, and found each car to have over 120k miles on them after running Carfax and AutoCheck reports.
