Default Looking for a RS clone

I am looking to purchase an RS clone. I am located in Nashville,TN and I have cash to spend. I would like nice car to drive on pretty days, show, and to take to track events. No projects please. I have purchased a 928 off of this board with a similar post and was thrilled with the responses. Any help would be appreciated. I have looked into having one built by a couple of reputable builders, but I don't want to wait that long. Reply to this post or drop me an email bokeith@firstexpress.net. Thank you in advance.

If you can get passed the color, this one looks like a beast.

I'm looking also. Not too many good quality cars on the market right now.

I want RS Spec, not "Replica".
Many cars out there have SC motors or other non-correct items. I guess it depends on what your looking for and how much your willing to spend.

Yeah, if you think it's hard to find the "right" original vintage car, it's infinitely harder to find the right hot-rod or replica. With a factory original car, all that matters is condition. With a car where the builder can choose a variety of parts and use a variety of contstruction techniques, you're bound to find alot of cars where the builder's values and yours do not align.

My car is not a proper "replica", but one place that I wouldn't want to stray too far from original is the motor. Having a high-revving MFI lump is the way to go with these, imho. Sure, a stock 964 motor will give great power & torque, but you don't retain much of the original character of the car that way.

Here's one locally, no affiliation:

It's been advertised for at least a month now.

search pelican for "Porsche Doc". Don Ramsey owns Air Cooled Classics in Knoxville, Tenessee and builds RS and RSR interpretations to suit. No affiliation but his cars look good.
