Default 8" and 9" on 911

Will 8" front and 9" rear fit on my 87 carrera? The car is set up to race and has at least 1.5 degrees of negative camber all around.
Thanks

Excuse my ignorance, but what is a "951"?
The reason I ask is because I'm thinking of going with wider than stock 6" & 7" Fuchs on my 86 911.
Thanks

Lots of wheel fitment info here

944 and 951 7 & 8 x15 or 16 w/ +23.3ET sort of fit the front of a 911, better fit is obtained w/ +25 to +31ET. The +23.3 still sits a tad far out. The left front is where the most problems are.

Some have had to use a 225/45 instead of a 245/50 tire to use the 944/951 wheels.

951 is the part number. 8" fuchs - that fit the front, are a one year only rear wheel from the 1986 944 turbo (model number designation 951).

The standard 8" 911 fuch has a 10 mm offset and will not fit the front of a standard 911.

The usual thing that is easier to find is the 7x16 and 8x16 Fuchs set up. You may need to burp out your left front fender a little (ask me how) but it will give plenty of clearance. You didn't mention whether you were going with 7&8s in 15 or 16 inch rims.

If 16s, you have a serious wheel offset issue to deal with. I recommend against playing with the camber as you sacrifice much in handling and in tire wear,--just for a look?

g-50cab,
Your rear (in the pic) is 16x9? That is my rear size but yours look a LOT wider. What tire size are you having in that pic?
Thanks

You can also use a 912 hub which is 1/2" narrower than the 911. Then use a spacer 1/8-1/4" to clear the caliper. That might work with a 911 8x16. I used a 912 hub w/8x16 951 wheels and ran a 245 Hoosier on the front of our '73 track car. Stock fenders w/rolled lip. I had to remove the strut covers so the tires didn't rub. I ran 9x16's w/275's on the rear. Had factory RS rear flairs, and 930 brakes all around.
