Moving over from a 964
Hi everyone,
I'm a new owner of a '71 911T/RS Clone. It's an California car with a rust free body, recently rebuild original 2.2 motor w/ Zenith and a 5 speed 901 gear box. Other than the fiberglass fenders and bumpers, it's pretty much bone stock. This will be my DE/track car and I'm hoping to work on the car myself as I did with the 964. However, I'm a complete newbie/idiot to carbs and early cars, so please be gentle if I ask stupid questions. Thank you in advance for your patience and help.
PS. This is my 3rd P car, and IMHO, it is probably the purest of them all.

Hi Peter,
Great car you have there.
I would like to know the ball park price of your car, if you don't mind. Please seen me a PM if you don't want to post it on the forum.
I am thinking of selling my C2Turbo and get one like yours.
Thanks,
Sonny

Sell your C2 Turbo! I hope your kidding. The early 911 will make a great addition to your Turbo, but I honestly don't think it can be a replacement.
I've sent you a PM with all the details, PM me if you need more.

Peter,
Got your PM, and replied. Check out the 964 Turbo for reason why I want to sell the car. If I have my way, I would want to be buried in it when I go. I wish I could add more Porsches. Though I only have 2 car garage.

If you guys keep putting pictures up of these beautiful RS Replicas i'm going to have to build a bigger garage.. on top of it a guy in town DROVE one up my driveway on Saturday he had just bought! All metal flares, original (repro) interior, color matched Fuchs, 2.4L purring like a kitten. THEN he tells me he is having a 2.8L 8500RPM twin-plug with custom 915 built for it!
I don't know how much more I can take...

Wow, absolutely gorgeous, Peter! I have always love the long-hood cars ...looks like you got a very nice example! Perhaps it is the sloped driveway, but the front looks a tad high. At least that is an easy mod now that you're in torsion-bar world. Enjoy!
