Default Oil Return Tubes?

I just poted this over at Pelican: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/showt...35#post2204135

Any other suggestions for a easy install?

Thanks,
Paul

I did mine 5-yrs ago I used a tech article from Pelican.
Now from memory I used green seals and steel tubes (expandable). The steel ones don't crush as easy during the install. I don't have any really bad memories so I'd say it is not too bad.

I just realized that mine are already the collapsable ones on that side. Maybe I just need new seals. I picked up a circlip plier set today and some hose clamps and I will try and tighten them up.

Thanks,
Paul

I found the ultimate tool to do this job. I was at Sears yesterday and bought a '4 3/8" Micro Bar Clamp' for $10. This guy is reversable as a spreader and the gap is < 4" when set up as a spreader. It works fine against the hose clamps and can be operated with one hand.

Best of all, it is is made in Slovakia which is closer to Germany than China is to Germany!

Thanks,
Paul

These tubes are cheap, relatively speaking. Just replace the offensive one(s) with new seals.
