Default Machine work

Well, I am going to pick up my machine work this weekend for my 911SC. Now I'm just curious, did I get a good deal?

Flywheel resurfaced
Connecting rod job
P&C's measured
Head job (valve guides, etc.)
Crank polished and measured

About $800. How did I fare?

Prices probably differ in Canada, but I'd say that was quite fair for good work. I paid about $CDN 450 for a complete head rebuild with me supplying the parts and reamer.

Others will have a better picture of the local market in your area.

Turned out the work was 1050. I left something out in my addition. The work appears to be pretty good, but I won't know until assembly, or more likely, until it runs! Still, not a bad price I think.
