Default Rare Fuch's 5.5J x 15 wheels (4)

I have a four Fuch's 5.5J x 15 wheels. "Deep six wheels" It is my understanding that these wheels are hard to get. Any information on fitment? What models had this wheel? What do these wheels normally go for? I have seen $2000 and up.

What is the correct Fuch wheel for a 1974 911S?

If your wheels are the "deep" style centers, wouldn't they be "deep 5.5s"? "Deep 6s" would be 6x15s... 5.5s might be more appealing to 912 or 356 owners (I have a set for my '65 SC). I believe they were introduced in '68. I am not sure of their rarity / market demand, so can't hazard a price - condition will be a major factor, & finding the guy who MUST HAVE that specific size, part # & production date.

wheels in '74...
US std: 5.5", steel
911S: 6", ATS ("cookie-cutters")
Carrera: frt - 6", rr - 7", Fuchs

These wheels also have the "heart" around the valve stem. They are "04" wheels. 1968?

So these are close to the Fuch's style front wheels used on the 911.

The wheels that you're thinking about is the 4.5x15 used on the '67S. They are sought after by the VW
people as well the Porsche group. I've seen them go for $2200 a set (4) un-refinished on E-bay. Form what I've seen 5.5x15's don't bring very much.

5.5" Fuchs were standard on 68 911Ss and optional on other 68 911s.

The correct Fuchs for a 74 911 would be late flat 6x15s.

I'm looking to buy set of 5.5x15, what is the date code?
I believe 1974 would be 6x16, thanks Tom
