Default sunvisors - were to get them?

I just sold the 2-tone visors from my 84 coupe & now I will definitely need a pair of all black replacements.
I'm having trouble locating a good source for a pair that is complete, in good conditoin (used) or worth the $$ (new or used!).
I fully expect to use the 964 style, but where can I find them that do not require me to re-use the origianl pivot pins?
If anyone has a set for sale, or knows where I can find some, please let me know.
Regards,
Dan

Dan,

I have a set of black ones from my 87 Carrera that are collecting dust in the basement (rollcage in, sunvisors out). If you're still looking let me know.

Pelican or your local POrsche dealer has them. I have the 964 ones and they are great. They came fully assembled and I simply screwed them into place. I think they were around $160 for the pair, and the quality is top notch.

I'm still looking Stacey. Either send me a PM or an email with the specifics re: price, shipping, etc. A few pics would also be great.

I believe that 944 visors are shaped differently, but I could be wrong. I would have to see them to be certain.

The price for new visors at teh dealer has risen to nearly $200 EACH!!!!!!!!!!
If not for that, i would go with new ones, but man, that is a heavy price tag.

WOW!!! That is unbelievable. Makes me wish I didn't throw my old ones in the trash, as they are probably worth something now.

Dan,

I have been looking for some thin, curved up ones too. My old puffy ones really suck badly. I took them off the car immediately and have never replaced them. Once in a while the need for them arises. Let me know your solution and what fits ?

BTW, I had my windows tinted by a jerk from Indy. If he makes things right, I'll not mention his name. If he hoses me, I'll make sure to mention his company name to beware! My car looks better without tint anyway.

Thanks,

Ron

I bit the bullet and spent approx. $320, incl. CA tax & shipping, for two new ones from Performance Products - 1-800-853-6360

I had actually checked out them as a source a few days ago. I guess our definitions of "affordably priced" are a bit different.
