Beautiful cars all. I go nuts for the early cars and those two Targas are gourgeous.
Edgy. I love the 69T photo, especially the yellow coupe with cookie cutters. No offence, just a lot to look at in that photo. Thanks for sharing all.

Sorry, it took some time, Bern origin guys have the reputation to be (very) slow !
But here are some more about this C3.2:
This was in Switzerland. I bought this car in Zürich in the beg of 92, with very low miles (about 7'000 miles) at a very good seller (a classic specialist named Lukas Hüni, see: www.lukashuniag.ch).
The former owner was a collector, and for whatever reason, i.e.: I understood after purchasing a TestaRossa, ..he wanted to get rid of this great 1986 Carrera 3.2, that had M491 and was one of the latest without catalyc converter. This is why, I never tried to imported it in California. Sure, this mean also no G50 !
But, I was looking for a "no cat" C3.2 cab with M491, so, I knew, G50 was not possible !
This car was all except a "vegetarian" car: it had leather everywhere, including around the little windows switches, door locks, etc.. I had two top covers, ..one be made of the same leather and color as the seats, well, I can add, that I never used this one, as, hopefully, the one in dark blue canvas, was included !!
The first thing that I did when I bought it, ..was to remove the rear wing, and put a nameless wingless rear hood.
For those that says that I should have removed the front spoiler too, to keep the car balanced, I would answer the following: for some time, in my daily drive, I had a long road (..may be located in Germany ??!!
), where I was able to put the needle of the tacho over the 200 mark, ..pretty much every morning, and that road has some long curves. And: ..I'm still there, and the car was sold without ever touching any sides of that road. By the way, it was long time ago (more than 10 years !!) ..and, frankly, I never noticed any problem of balance at that level of speed !
Well, I kept it untill mid 2005, (heated garage and not driven since late 99) and did a total of about 60'000km with it.
Just only good souvenirs, a fantastic car, perfect handling, superb braking, just all good, never any mechanical problem.
I think it is a semi-rare car. The total production of 3.2 cab with M491 should be in the range of 1'000 ex.
It was sold, in the mid 2005, to a lawyer in Zurich, that had already few 911's.
And ..as this is a Photo topic, let's add 2 more: (on this one, we can observe that the Fuchs were painted the same color as the car).
