Is the red & black leather original, or did you have it re-done? If original, then an absolute top-notch job taking care of it! If restored, I'd be keen to know who did the work...

Thanks. (Credit for the restoration management belongs to Mr. Rick Shea, Kenmore, WA.)
The car went through a complete restoration in 2014. (The original interior was Linen.) The interior leather is Porsche original product - Can Can red / Black. Full leather, including the complete dash.
The interior work was done by All City Convertibles and Customs located in Kirkland, Washington. (Matt did the exceptional work.)
Ironman 88. Take good care of my baby. A lot of love and thoughtful work went into the restoration. As you know she is a blast to drive and a head turner no matter where you go.I know she has a great home

When Jeff Zwart (on his bicycle) says "hey, follow me" at Luft 9 you know you're going to get a good display location. Warehouse 116 on Sunday, April 30. Warehouse 116 on Sunday, April 30. Up a short alley on the south end of Luft 9 on Saturday, April 29. Same alley on Saturday, April 29.

I think there's always a tendency to entertain the belief that one may own a car such as this one - but I do realize that I am just a steward and responsible custodian.
I am very fortunate to have it - no doubt about that.
I certainly do respect the thoughtfulness, care, commitment, and financial investment that went into the restoration of this special car! (Not to mention the inspired work ethic and expert craftsmanship!)
I would also look to make special mention of Nathan Merz (Columbia Valley Luxury Cars, Redmond Washington) for the role he played in providing me with visibility, access, and advice relative to this extraordinary car! Thank you Nathan!
Going forward - I am committed to not drop the ball with this car while it's in my custody.
(For starters, I've devoted approximately 150 hours of TLC work on it...)
"I really try to set up the cars in a way that they will create the perfect photo opportunity," says Zwart, who places the cars, one at a time in the 24 hours leading up to the show, in what ends up being the most photogenic place possible. The cars pre-stage in an area on the edge of the site, and Zwart, atop a well-worn carbon fiber road bicycle, zooms back and forth, leading each car to its idealized backdrop, then zipping back to the lot for the next one. "I put the car exactly where I would want it if I was taking the photo. But now everyone is carrying their own camera - all you need today is a phone - and I let you hit the shutter yourself. Some of the shots come out better than I could have imagined."
A few of my favorites that certainly benefited from Jeff Zwart's photographer's excellent eye.
