I've been looking for this picture for a while. It is my 1983 SC that I bought in 1988 and sold in 2000 for crazy low money. I think the prices for SC's started going up the next day. The picture was taken at Charlotte Motor Speedway in early 1990's, notice the canopies in the background. It was probably my first or second track day. Great car that I obviously wish I still had.
That is an AWESOME picture! Honestly, the Sugar Scoops are starting to grow on me. I may keep mine on. What wheels were you running btw? Looks like you had some meat back there!!
Couple of photos taken today during our summer holiday trip through lake Saimaa area in south-east part of Finland.
The first photo is taken in the front of Reserve Officer School of Finnish Defence Forces where I spent some months in 1998 during my military service. I haven't visited the city of Hamina since then before today.

Thanks Cam, I always liked the photo.
I won the wheels at a year-end autocross banquet. They were ARE 8 & 9 X 16. I used several different brand tires, but always ran 225 & 245. I remember the fronts rubbing a little but no problem with the rears. By the time I sold it my wife wouldn't even ride in it since it was so harsh on the street but it was a bunch of fun on the track.
Not getting tired of this great thread ...love it all, gents!
Funny how when I first got my SC many years ago I had toyed with the idea of ditching the "accordion bumpers," swapping the sugar scoops, or even going whole-hog and backdating to long-hood style. But now these cars just look right, so right, just as they rolled out from the fatherland ...tasty mods not withstanding, of course
Keep up the pics and love
