Mr Bonus: Yes those are 16x7/8's. I love them. It has also been lowered to Euro spec. In combination, I think it makes for a killer stance.
John D: Thanks!
I just scored an 89 coupe with 56k miles in spectacular shape. Besides a very tastefully done headunit (from a Boxster) with speaker/amp upgrade, and slightly lowered ride height, the car is otherwise stock and original.
I've had no inclination to modify it, but I have to say, the 6x16" front Fuchs just look "dainty" compared to the meaty 8x16" rears. Maybe this is the one thing I'll swap out.
Mine are the original anodized lip with black centers. Anyone know what part number I'm looking for if I want to put 7x16" on the front?
i bought this car back in 97 and drove it 3 months and snapped the crank , paid on it for 3 years while collecting parts and ended up in financial trouble and sold it to a buddy very cheap in 2001 . i recently contacted him and manged to work a deal to buy it back very cheap !! so here it is , 73 911t with lots of hop ups and steel flares ,bumpers, etc. etc. someone before me in 97 ' did the 94 style rockers ,mirrors, and wheels. i'm not sure what direction i will go with it but for now i am just going to drive the wheels off it !!!
Thanks guys! I'll be honest though, not feelin the BBS wheels on this. Looking for 7&8" Fuchs.
That will set off the car just right! I bought the after market Fuchs 7&8's , they are worth every penny, I got tired of looking for OEM and the prices are ridiculous , $800 for a brand new set of the after market

Are those the Euromeister wheels? Been looking at those myself. Like you said, $800 for new, slightly heavier cast wheels versus AT LEAST double the price for forged Fuchs of questionable condition.
And btw, that car is perfect Rudy. Me, I'd add the front spoiler.....but that's it.
