Post need your opinions on the 3.3liter turbo motor!

i am putting a 3.3liter turbo motor with a K27 turbo and B&B headers/exhaust into a 1974 carrera that weighs 2300lbs.. what do you think of this idea? any ideas of how much hp it would make? what are your overall opinions of the 3.3liter?

im not sure of the transaxle.. but the car is basically a race car with all kinds of work done.. it had a 3.2 RSR spec 300HP motor in it before so im sure the transaxle was stiffened

Hi

I don't know how much power you will have. I put a 3.0 turbo motor in my SC. It weighs about 2950 lbs with me in it. It has about 250 hp. And it is a blast. If you like turbos you will love it.

I'm curious to know how you got your weight down to 2300!

How does one 'stiffen' a transaxle? I've been rubbing gl/5 all over mine and it hasn't changed a bit...

about 320-350 hp, depending on intercooling, condition of motor, etc. The car should rock.

the car is a 74 911 carrera and EVERYTHING has been gutted.. it may weigh a little more than 2300 with that motor in there... more like 2500.. my 3.2 rs spec motor is now up for sale, so if you know anyone who needs it let me know!
